Yesterday I made three pumpkin pies from scratch and my famous whipped cream. I noticed my parents kept eyeing the first pie that came out of the oven; I told them we’d name it the “test” pie and that they could eat it, but the other two would be for Thanksgiving dinner.
When I woke up this morning, I caught them slicing the second pie.
